Samantha studied singing at the Royal College of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire, winning the Symphony Hall Recital Competition, Vincent Lieder Prize and Oratorio Prize. She has performed Queen of the Night in the Magic Flute at the Welsh National Opera (WNO), as well as Opera North, ETO, Mid Wales Opera, Opera de Bauge and numerous small scale and concert versions.

During spring 2020 Samantha covered for WNO in their new production of Carmen and was due to take part in a number of family concerts. During 2018-2019 she covered Norina in Don Pasquale and performed in a series of concerts for schools and families throughout the UK and Hong Kong. Other roles for WNO include Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Musetta (La Boheme), Echo (Ariadne auf Naxos), Karolka (Jenůfa), Alice Ford (Falstaff), High Priestess (Aida) and has also performed the role of Slave (Salome) and 2nd Bird in the world premiere of James Macmillan’s The Sacrifice.

Samantha has also performed Goddess Ceres for the RSC, for a run of The Tempest at London’s Barbican Centre and Stratford Upon Avon.

In 2016 she performed Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and Priestess in Iphigenie for English Touring Opera and Soprano Soloist for Raymond Gubbay’s Strauss Gala Tour
