CAFÉ MUSE

Café Muse is a fun and friendly place where participants and their family members are supported to live independently with mild to moderate dementia within Herefordshire and Warwickshire.  Each session is themed, with participants invited to explore musical instruments, rediscover musical skills, sing along, dance, share their memories,  discuss current affairs, and most importantly, enjoy a free group lunch!

We run two cafés in the region: Our weekly Café Muse Hereford (aimed at the Armed Forces community and their families), and our monthly Café Muse Stratford (aimed at people living with dementia in the CV37 postcode).

To book on our dementia-friendly Café Muse session or to find out more, give us a call 01926 350028 or email education@orchestraoftheswan.org

“For people with dementia – even those who have lost their ability to communicate or are at the end of their life – music can be a powerful way to trigger positive feelings and connect with other people.”
