This is an image for Home and Heartlands a concert at Warwick Hall. It's the view on the top of Burton Dassett Hills with a windmill in the background. The image is taken at sunset and there's a beautiful pink sky.

Sibelius’s Finlandia and Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2 frame this programme.

Few composers could create a musical landscape as distinctive as Sibelius or Rachmaninov. Two works that combine intimacy and grandeur, while Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, performed by acclaimed violinist Priya Mitchell, brings some of the most memorable and heartfelt writing in the violin repertoire.

Together they offer a compelling exploration of the Romantic imagination.

Priya Mitchell has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as internationally renowned ensembles across Europe, Australia and beyond.
