SWAN SESSIONS | WARWICK
Bringing together traditional song, early music and contemporary composition in a reflection on our relationship with the land.
Earthsongs is a live experience rooted in landscape, memory and the living presence of the natural world. Featuring the distinctive voice of Jackie Oates
Original works sit alongside traditional songs such as Lark in the Morning, Brigg Fair and Young Leonard, whose stories have been shaped by centuries of rural life and folklore. With voice, violin, accordion, piano and bass, the programme moves fluidly between ancient and modern sound worlds, creating a rich musical tapestry inspired by the rhythms and spirit of the earth.
