OOTS presents a unique musical experience inspired by planet earth’s mysterious neighbour – the moon. Music and words combine to provide a moving account of how our beautiful satellite came into being and to tell the story of the unprecedented scientific leap that captured the world’s imagination more than half a century ago. We also explore the idea of the moon as an object of longing, mystery and romanticism with words by Shelley, James Joyce, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong and featuring music by Haydn, Beethoven, Debussy, Paul Simon and Schönberg.
Piano – David Gordon
