David Lodder LCF Chairman
"The Foundation aims to support local and regional independent charities where a real difference can be made, something which reflects Lodders’ ongoing commitment to the community. We take great pleasure in being able to support our local community and are delighted that we have been able to help local charities, particularly during these difficult times. These are difficult times for many, in particular for charities that have seen a dip in donations and fundraising, alongside a growing need for their services and support from people and communities struggling more than ever in these unprecedented times. This is true for each of the charities chosen as beneficiaries of our fundraising over the coming two years.”

The foundation also fundraises for additional charities through specific events.

For example, as part of its 2019 fundraising, the Foundation raised £7,000 for children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent, thanks to Lodders’ partners Michael Wakeling, Alastair Frew and James Spreckley who cycled 310 miles from London to Paris in four days: Lodders trio raise £6k for charity after conquering London to Paris cycle and Lodders trio take on London to Paris cycle for children’s cancer charity Lodders has won an award in recognition of its charitable / fundraising work, and its creation of LCF, see: Lodders wins the Contribution to the Community Award | Lodders Solicitors
