Description
At just 20 years old and the 5th (of 7) siblings in the Kanneh Mason family, Jeneba was a keyboard category finalist in the BBC Young Musician 2018, winner of the Murs du Son Prize at the Lagny-Sur-Marne International Piano Competition in France 2014, one of 5 ‘Rising Stars’ featured on Classic FM and Sky Arts presented by Julian Lloyd Webber, and currently holds the Victoria Robey Scholarship to the Royal College of Music.
Astonishingly, all 7 siblings are equally obsessed with music, despite neither of their parents being musicians. State educated in Nottingham, they grew up listening to all varieties of music from Reggae, Rap, Rock, Country and Western to Classical. Jeneba will be performing Mozart Piano Concerto No.23 in both Warwick Hall on Thursday 8 February 2024.
