"I enjoyed the quality of the music and the great teaching and support during sectionals"

"I developed musical skills such as sight reading and responding to the conductor and the rest of the orchestra more"

"It was great to play with other young musicians and get tutored by the professionals"

Swan Youth Orchestra was launched in February 2024, to give school-age musicians across the region an opportunity to take their orchestral playing to the next level.

Our Swan Youth Orchestra members will be tutored and play side-by-side with our professional Orchestra of the Swan musicians, developing students ensemble and performance skills. A Swan Youth Orchestra weekend consists of sectionals, workshops and full rehearsals, concluding with a concert.
