Punk princess and cult stage actor Toyah Willcox is to join Orchestra of the Swan this weekend, to close the Stratford Music Festival, with family concert ‘Into the Woods’.
The award-winning punk legend will narrate Roald Dahl’s wicked retelling of Little Red Riding Hood and Three Little Pigs. The brilliant score is by renowned English composer Paul Patterson, which perfectly complements Dahl’s irreverent sense of humour.
Stratford Music Festival, which is now in its 26th year, is a highlight of Stratford’s cultural calendar with its unique mix of professional and amateur musicians. Running across nine days in November the festival takes place at a range of town venues in the town, from the Stratford Play House, Levi Fox Theatre, to Holy Trinity Church and the Guild Chapel.
‘Into the Woods’ takes place this Sunday 20th November 2022 at 2pm, at the Stratford Play House. Tickets available here.
